Source Interlink Chooses GameStreamer for Online Game Stores

Seven of the media company’s sites will carry thousands of downloadable games.

Sarasota, Fla. (August 24, 2010) – Source Interlink, a major publisher of 75 specialty publications and 90 websites, has contracted with game-download leader GameStreamer to power custom game stores for seven of its sites.

Source Interlink’s car-loving fans have a need for speed, and GameStreamer is uniquely equipped to serve them.  GameStreamer offers progressive downloads, so consumers can start playing games in a matter of minutes instead of hours.

Source Interlink’s magazine titles include Motor Trend and Hot Rod, and 55 of its websites are automotive, such as Super Street and Euro Tuner. Both of those sites and five other car-related sites will launch online gaming products through GameStreamer early next week.

Source Interlink’s game stores will carry 3,000+ game titles, which will include a range of genres from MMORPG to casual games. All of GameStreamer’s partner game stores are customized to the partner’s brand and benefit from exclusive offers available only to GameStreamer partner stores.
